Fees
How the fee for your case works, before you sign
Each kind of case has a flat fee, quoted in writing before any work begins. The government charges its own fees on top, and we tell you the amount in advance.
Case review
45 minutes with a lawyer, by video or in Houston. It has a set fee, quoted when you book, and it is credited to your flat fee if you hire us within 30 days.
A lawyer, not an assistant
Your options in writing afterward
Family petitions and green cards
A flat fee for a petition for one relative, a green card inside the U.S. or the consulate route. The route you need is what moves it.
Form I-130 with the evidence and a cover letter
Form I-485 with the work and travel permits
The National Visa Center file and a practice interview
Replies to requests for evidence
Affidavit of support review
Citizenship and work permits
A flat fee for an N-400, a DACA renewal or a work permit. A request for a reduced fee or a waiver is included if you qualify.
Form N-400, two practice interviews, and a lawyer at your interview
Forms I-821D and I-765 for a DACA renewal
Form I-765 for a pending application or another status
A reminder when your window opens
Court cases
Priced by stage, so you know what a hearing costs before the hearing. Appeals are quoted after we have read the decision.
A bond hearing, with papers to show your ties here
An asylum application: Form I-589, evidence and your statement
Representation through the first full hearing
Preparing your testimony
Government filing fees, State Department fees, medical exams, translations and the bond itself are paid separately. If your case turns out to need something else, we tell you the cost before we do it.
What the government charges, separately
Filing fees
Paid to USCIS or the immigration court. We give you the exact figure for your case before you sign.
Medical exam
Done by a doctor approved by the agency, for most green card cases. The doctor sets the price.
Translations
Documents in another language need a full English translation. We tell you which ones.
How paying works here
Can I pay in installments?
Most flat fees can be paid in monthly installments with no interest, written into the agreement before work begins.
What if my case turns out to be different?
We tell you before we do any extra work and put the new price in writing. You never receive a bill you were not told about.
What if I decide not to go ahead?
If we have not started on your case, we refund the fee except the case review. If we have, we refund what is left after the work done, and say how we figured it.
Your number, signed before we start
After a review we send an agreement with the fee, what it covers and what it does not. Nothing starts until you sign.
