Work permits, renewed before they run out
A work permit is valid for a set time, and the renewal window is short. Missing it can mean a gap in a paycheck, a driver's license or both.
A DACA renewal and a work permit tied to a pending application or another status each have a flat fee, quoted in writing before you sign. Both include a reminder by email and text when your renewal window opens.
First-time DACA requests are subject to court orders that have been changing, so we start with a case review and tell you what is open before you pay for a filing.
Who applies for these
DACA renewals
We file inside the window the agency recommends and check for anything that changed since the last time.
A pending green card or asylum case
If your application has been filed, you may be able to ask for permission to work while it is decided.
Temporary status
Temporary protected status and similar programs, where they are open. We check the current rules first.
A permit with a mistake
A wrong name, date or category can be corrected, and so can a card that was lost or never arrived.
Questions about renewing
When should I renew?
The agency asks for DACA renewals about four to five months before the permit expires. We send your reminder at the start of that window.
Can I keep working while a renewal is pending?
In most cases not past the date on your current card. That is why we file early and do not wait for the last month.
Can I travel while I wait?
Please do not travel until we have looked at your case. Leaving the country can end a pending request or put your status at risk.
Bring us your expiry date
Send us the expiry date on your card and we will tell you when to file.
The case review is credited to your flat fee if you hire us within 30 days.
